Recruiting for diversity in VC

Like many industries with a high concentration of wealth — and the careers that help professionals accumulate it — investment firms have a severe dearth of diversity in their ranks. Regardless of whether the focus is venture capital, private equity or any other investment asset class, the firms are replete with white men. Only 9% of investment decision makers in VC today are women; just 2% are Black.
